SKIN CONCERNS

melasma

Melasma is usually a genetic predisposition and occurs in woman during child bearing age and can be triggered from pregnancy and hormone therapy, contraception pills, sun exposure and even heat can worsen the condition.  Your daily skin ritual should include a Broad Spectrum SPF 30+ or higher to protect your skins condition from becoming more severe.

It can serverly affect ones confidence and self esteem as it darkens over time and appears on the forehead, cheeks and upper lip.

As it is one of the more difficult types of pigmentations to treat, following your treatment plan and home care advice is vital to treating Melasma.  Our staff will provide a treatment plan with intervals that should be followed upon your initial skin consultation and analysis to achieving the best outcome for your skin.
