Skin Concerns

pigmentation

Pigmentation and uneven skin tone can be caused from many different factors including sun damage, hormonal changes and medication, creating brown discolouration commonly on the forehead, cheeks and upper lip, and can also be found in other areas and on the body.  Wearing a Broad Spectrum SPF 30+ or higher daily is crucial as pigmentation will worsen with exposure.

Depending on the type of pigmentation, your skin tone and type, will depend on which treatments will be more effective.

Some forms of pigmentation include and are not limited to:

Sunspots

Melasma

– Post inflammatory

– Hyperpigmentation (PIH)

Freckles
